SPARC Program

The Sparc Program is a licensed Adult Training Facility that provides prevocational training and personal development training to adults with cognitive, intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our SPARC program places a strong emphasis on supporting people with disabilities as they strive towards their personal outcomes. Support within the program includes diverse skill development opportunities, which encourage relationships, personal interactions, and activities that provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate fully as members of the larger community.

The SPARC Program develops activities by including the participation and input from SPARC participants, family and other supporters, all levels of SPARC staff, the SPARC Committee, volunteer personnel, and The Arc governing and advisory councils.

Some SPARC Volunteer Services Include:

  • Delivering meals
  • Dispensing Ice Water
  • Gardening
  • Grounds Clean-up
  • Light cleaning tasks
  • Patient interaction
  • Plant care
  • Rhythm Band activities for people with Alzheimer’s
