The SPARC Program is a state-licensed
adult training facility that serves
adults in Lehigh and Northampton
Counties. Program participants select
from a variety of core concentration
options based on their abilities and
personal choice that include:
Community Volunteerism – participants
learn and enhance work-related skills by
volunteering their time and talents at
more than 14 community volunteer
sites, doing activities such as
light cleaning, hospitality, food
service, landscaping, thrift shop
management and mailings.
Community outings - participants visit
museums, do shopping for program,
enhance social skills and take part in
fun activities such as bowling,
horseback riding, mini golf, and go to
the movies, to name a few.
Life skills – participants who have
limited abilities learn how to better
manage their lives through personal
safety, grooming, money identification
and how to use the telephone, to name a
few.
Therapies – SPARC participants receive a
variety of regular stimulating therapies
that include pet therapy, musical
therapy, and horticultural therapy, to
name a few.
